Grants to USA, Canada, and International research organizations to conduct studies on pedestrian fatalities in the United States. Funding is intended for research studies determining the factors going into these fatal accidents in an effort to reduce pedestrian fatalities nationwide.

Grants of up to $7,500 to Ohio nonprofit organizations for programs that address critical needs in eligible counties. Funding is intended for projects and activities that respond to basic human needs, including but not limited to healthcare, housing, clothing, and food. Eligible applicants are located in and serve Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Preble, and Warren (north) counties.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International research organizations to identify road infrastructure improvements that will contribute to enhanced transportation safety. Funding is intended to identify which improvements are cost-effective and have the biggest benefit in terms of preserving human life.

Grants to Ohio nonprofit organizations collaborating with childcare programs for behavioral health projects that benefit children. Funding is intended to help programs develop relationships with service providers within the community. Successful applicants will partner with a group of five to ten programs to build relationships and offer services to childcare centers. Grants can be used to train each program’s childcare team to serve the children within that program.

Grants to USA IHEs, LEAs, Tribes, and Tribal organizations for projects to improve the educational opportunities of Indian students. Funding is intended for projects with a focus on communal barriers to education and achievement among eligible youth. Projects should prepare Indian youth for higher education and careers.

Opportunity for USA and Puerto Rico entrepreneurs in creative industries to participate in a business development program. In addition to receiving a $5,000 grant, entrepreneurs will be able to participate in a coaching program and have access to other educational and professional resources.

In-kind grants of creative and marketing services to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit, educational, and service organizations and government agencies to improve communications and brand value. The goal of the program is to help organizations strengthen the marketing and branding efforts of successful applicants through brand development, marketing strategies, website design, and creative services.

Grants to USA nonprofit agencies for research related to food allergies. Funding is intended to support projects in the focus areas of diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention. Particular consideration will be given to research addressing disparities in food allergy prevalence and management among underrepresented groups and/or projects that address inequity in health information and care.

Grants of up to $40,000 and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit and non-governmental organizations for forest conservation projects in eligible countries. Funding is intended for projects that monitor forests, support sustainable management of forest landscapes, and reduce illegal and unplanned deforestation. Previously funded projects have been used to strengthen community land rights, alert authorities to illegal deforestation, and raise awareness of deforestation drivers. Projects must be carried out in specified countries in Latin America, Africa, or Asia.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA nonprofit organizations, government agencies, tribes, IHEs, and museums to preserve Native American cultural items. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for the expenses associated with the packaging, transportation, contamination removal, reburial, and/or storage of NAGPRA-related cultural items.

Residencies to USA artists and researchers to develop new creative projects. Eligible projects are those inspired by significant pieces of architecture from the 20th century. In addition to monetary support, successful applicants will be given accommodations and access to a campus containing significant works of architecture. The purpose of the program is to nurture creativity of artists, writers, scholars, and others from multiple disciplines, expand interpretation of the historic site, engage public audiences, and strengthen the site and region as a center for arts, architecture, and culture.

Grants of up to $2,500 to USA freelance journalists to research and write pieces of investigative journalism. Funding is intended to conduct preliminary reporting that will lead to full investigations. Funding may be used for initial reporting trips and open-records requests.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations in multiple states for projects and programs that serve communities in which the funding source has a business presence. Funding is intended for activities in the areas of education, disaster preparedness and relief, and recycling. Grants are awarded in the communities in which Ball Corporation operates in the United States, including the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington, DC, and Wisconsin.

Prizes to USA nonprofit organizations for community development projects. Past projects supported by the prize money include park improvements, community gardens, sports fields, and agricultural education programs. Eligible projects must be located within a 50-mile radius of an authorized dealer of Kubota products to qualify.

Opportunity for USA entrepreneurs to participate in a business development program. Some program participants will qualify for a grant of $20,000. The program includes mentorship, strategy sessions led by experts, and opportunities for networking. The goal of the program is to equip entrepreneurs with the resources, connections, and tools they need to break through barriers and achieve their business goals. Preference will be given to female entrepreneurs.

Grants of up to $2,000 to USA undergraduate and graduate students affiliated with IHEs for research and scholarships related to managing invasive species in Florida. Funding is intended to cover a wide range of direct expenses related to implementing the projects, including equipment and supplies, stipends, and travel expenses, Focal species should be problematic or of concern in the state of Florida.

Grants of up to $10,000 to Ohio and Indiana nonprofit organizations for health-related activities that address the needs of local residents in communities served by the funding source. Areas of focus include mental health and substance misuse; physical activity, nutrition, and weight; and maternal and infant health. Eligible proposals serve Brookville, Cambridge City, Connersville, Hagerstown, New Castle, Richmond, Rushville, and Winchester in Indiana; and Eaton and Greenville in Ohio.

Grants and in-kind support to Ohio nonprofit organizations to increase civic participation in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support projects and events for local voting-age residents. Focus areas include mobilization and activation, engagement and education, and capacity building. The goal of the program is to educate, connect, and empower voting-age constituents in the Greater Cleveland area.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for community benefit programs and projects. Funding is intended to support hospitals and schools; museums, performing arts and cultural programs; skills training, educational, and other programming for seniors, youth, and people with disabilities; environmental and wildlife protection activities; and other programs that address community needs.

Opportunity for USA and Canada startups to participate in a three-month technology accelerator program. The purpose of the accelerator is to devise climate tech and sustainability solutions and to help startups grow their companies. Participating startups will receive an investment of funds and professional guidance.
